Jind, August 4 (HS). Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh's national pracharak Avinash Jaiswal and BJP state president Mohan Lal Badauli's brother Mai Ram Badauli attended the Divya Geeta Satsang program organized in the city's new grain market on Sunday under the joint aegis of Rashtriya Kirti Awahan Samiti, Shri Krishna Kripa Parivar and GO Geeta Parivar and in coordination with former member of Haryana Staff Selection Commission Advocate Vijaypal Singh. On this occasion, the special company of Mahamandaleshwar Geeta Manishi Swami Gyananand Maharaj was received.
The guests started the program by garlanding the Gita Manishi and lighting the lamp. On this occasion, Gita Manishi Swami Gyananand Maharaj honored Avinash Jaiswal and Mai Ram Badauli by giving them mementoes. On this occasion, the devotees danced to the tune of bhajans. In his address, Swami Gyananand Maharaj said that there are 18 chapters and 700 shlokas in Gita Ji. Each shloka of Gita inspires one to do selfless work, dedicated to the Lord and without ego. Gita is not only a book of faith of any one religion but it is a book for the welfare of the entire humanity. There is no mention of narrow-mindedness and differences of opinion anywhere in Gita Ji.

The Gita sermon was given 5160 years ago on the battlefield of Kurukshetra during the war between the Kauravas and the Pandavas. Everyone wants mental and social peace and only the Gita can provide these two things to man. Peace and harmony can be established only by adopting the teachings of the Gita. It is important that the knowledge of the Gita reaches every home and every human being.
