Lucknow, September 11 (HS). A virtual meeting was organized regarding the “My Bharat” portal under the chairmanship of the Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports, Government of India. Minister of State for Youth Welfare and Sports (Independent Charge) Girish Chandra Yadav participated in it on behalf of the state of Uttar Pradesh. Girish Chandra Yadav, while informing about the proposed activities and actions in the state, said that the Swachhata Pakhwada campaign from September 17 to October 02 will be made successful through the members of Mangal Dals.
He said that various public welfare programmes will be organised by registering maximum number of youth on My Bharat Portal and for this purpose guidelines will be sent to all the District Magistrates, District Youth Welfare Officers of the department. He said that apart from this, efforts will be made to increase the number of registrations on the portal by establishing coordination with schools, colleges and universities to add maximum number of youth on the “My Bharat” portal.
In the meeting, the Minister, Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports, Government of India, first of all focused on increasing the participation and active participation of youth in various activities. Along with this, he expected the ministers of all the states to ensure the participation of youth in various welfare programs and provide support and guidance to the youth in as many areas as possible, so that they can bring excellent changes in the society. During this, he also informed about the utility of the portal and the options available for the youth.
