Sustainable and long-term development of the state should become priority: Governor


Jaipur, May 9 (Hindustan Reporter) Governor Kalraj Mishra has said that everyone should work together for the balanced and sustainable development of the state. He called for working keeping in mind long-term development through well-planned schemes in the areas of tribal welfare, education, agriculture, tourism, industry etc. under all-round development. He also expressed the need to take up effective works related to the development of the state under Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) and implement them.

Governor Mishra was addressing the meeting of the Governor's Advisory Board at Raj Bhavan on Thursday. He said that under the Governor's Advisory Board, an initiative has been taken to work for sustainable, sustainable and all-round development of the state by inviting suggestions from subject experts. Implementation of the suggestions made in earlier meetings in various fields in university education and other fields has also yielded positive results. In the meeting, he stressed on working for the age-appropriate development of the state by properly exploiting the resources available in Rajasthan and increasing efforts for entrepreneurship development. He said that a Tribal Unit has been established at the Raj Bhavan level to monitor issues related to the restructuring of the Governor's Relief Fund, effective development of tribal areas, sustainable development of tribal areas. The country's first Constitution Garden has been created in Raj Bhavan.

In the meeting, the members of the State Advisory Committee also specifically suggested the establishment of a women's university in tribal areas on the lines of Vanasthali Vidyapeeth. Emphasis was laid on creating a public health cadre within the health sector and making practical efforts to reduce infant and maternal mortality, use of AI in the public health sector and integrated implementation of Ayushman Bharat. Similarly, suggestions were also made to send proposals at Raj Bhavan level for more establishment of Village Courts in tribal areas, development of speedy justice system in revenue matters and establishment of High Court Bench for tribal areas. Important suggestions were made to establish industry-academia link for trained human resources under higher and technical education, work on financial literacy and fully implement e-governance by developing employment-oriented curriculum. The State Advisory Board has recommended making coordinated efforts for the economic and cultural development of the state, establishment of small and medium, micro small scale industries in the state from states outside Rajasthan, working keeping entrepreneurship at the center and promoting entrepreneurship at various levels. Emphasis was also laid on taking steps.

The meeting was attended by TMI Group Chairman T. Muraleedharan, HRH Group Director Lakshyaraj Singh Mewar, Senior Advocate R.N. Mathur, Economist Dr. Manoranjan Sharma, Educationist Prof. AK Gehlot and Dr. Vishwapati Trivedi gave their suggestions for development in various fields. The members of the Governor's Advisory Board appreciated the work done by Raj Bhavan for educational quality in the light of the new education policy and for creating an effective environment for development by self-monitoring in various areas at the Governor level. The initiative of establishing the country's first Constitution Park at Raj Bhavan was also described as important. In the beginning, Governor's Secretary Gaurav Goyal introduced the topic and requested the members to put forward suggestions.
