Koderma, 21 October (Hindustan Reporter). BJP leader Surendra Bhai Modi held a meeting with supporters and workers at Pathik Basera residence of Jaynagar block of the district. The meeting was presided over by Banshidhar Baranwal and conducted by Santosh Modi.
Feeling emotional after being denied ticket from BJP, Surendra Bhai Modi told his supporters and workers that I was a strong contender for the ticket and consent had also been expressed on my name. But at the last moment, my ticket was canceled and independent MLA Amit Kumar Yadav was given the ticket. Angered by not getting the ticket, Surendra Bhai Modi resigned from all BJP posts and announced to contest the elections as an independent. He took this step after discussing with his supporters.
The supporters present there said that the BJP, which talks about the honor and respect of the area, has insulted the people of the area by not giving a ticket to a hard-working educationist. We will take revenge for this insult by sending social worker Surendra Bhai Modi to the Assembly. Whereas Shri Modi said that he does not even know the principles of BJP. Tickets have been given to such people. Said that if the people of the area win the elections from Barkatha Assembly, then along with solving every problem of the area, I will continue to serve every poor people.
