Ranchi, March 11 (Hindustan Reporter) Congress' Jharkhand in-charge Ghulam Ahmed Mir and state president Rajesh Thakur have welcomed the historic decision of the Supreme Court regarding electoral bonds.
State in-charge Ghulam Ahmed Mir said on Monday that if SBI does not provide information about electoral bonds by March 12, then they may face problems. The Supreme Court warned them and rejected the bank's appeal. The court ordered SBI to submit the information to the Election Commission by March 12 and post it on their website by March 15.
He said this information is expected to reveal fraud in election funds and possible involvement of shell companies. State President Rajesh Thakur said that questions are being raised on the Prime Minister's accountability in this matter, because his silence and the government's action have raised suspicions about his involvement in hiding information. The court's decision has put an end to the ongoing speculations and rumors regarding the case.
