Supreme Court warns youth about the dangers of drugs

The Supreme Court on Monday expressed serious concern over the increasing habit of drinking alcohol among the youth of the country. He warned the youth that taking drugs is not good or good at all. Justice B.V. A bench of Justices Nagarathna and N Kotishwarasingh made the above observations while allowing investigation by the NIA against accused drug smuggler Ankush Vipan Kapoor.

Ankush is accused of being involved in smuggling of heroin from Pakistan to India via sea route. The court said that glorification of drugs should be stopped at all costs. Expressing concern over people running away from the problem of drug and alcohol addiction, the court said that everyone will have to organize to fight this serious problem.
