New Delhi. The Supreme Court has taken cognizance of the controversial statement of Allahabad High Court judge Justice Shekhar Kumar Yadav given in a program of Vishwa Hindu Parishad (VHP). Earlier, the Campaign for Judicial Accountability and Reforms (CJAR) had written a letter to the Chief Justice of India complaining about this statement. The letter demands an in-house investigation and also says that Justice Shekhar Kumar Yadav be kept away from all judicial work until the investigation is completed.
