The Supreme Court reprimanded a person for taking out his separate wife and minor daughters from home. Describing it as inhuman, the court said that such behavior has eradicated the basic difference between humans and animals. Justice Suryakant and Justice N. Kotishwar Singh’s bench made a strong comment and said:
“What kind of person are you, who do not even care about their minor daughters? What did he do wrong by coming to this world? “
The bench further said:
“He was only interested in producing children. We cannot allow such cruel person to enter our court. Saraswati Puja at home all day, sometimes Lakshmi Puja, and then all this. “
Court imposed strict conditions
The Supreme Court, distressed by the case, said that the court would not hear it until a person gives a subsistence allowance or some agricultural land to his daughters and wife. The bench told her lawyer:
“Tell this person to deposit agricultural land or term in the name of his daughters, or give them the amount of maintenance. Only then will the court consider passing any order in his favor. ”
The court also said that not taking care of minor daughters is the culmination of inhumanity.
Married to another woman and other allegations
The lower court of Jharkhand convicted this person for harassing and harassing his wife for dowry. Apart from this, he is also accused of deception of his wife’s uterus and later marrying another woman.
In 2015, the lower court convicted him under Section 498A (cruelty to married women) of the Indian Penal Code and sentenced him to two and a half years rigorous imprisonment with a fine of Rs 5,000.
