New Delhi: The Supreme Court has rejected the PIL (PIL) filed against special facilities given to VIP people by taking money in temples. The Supreme Court said that it will not pass any order in this case and the management committee of the temple should decide what action should be taken on this issue.

A bench of Chief Justice Sanjeev Khanna and Sanjay Kumar said that the society and temple management committee has to take a decision on this issue. The Supreme Court will not give any order in this regard. It may be our opinion that there should be no such special facility, but we cannot issue such an order.

The bench said that we believe that it is not necessary to exercise the rights provided under Article 32 of the Constitution in this matter. Although we have rejected this application, this does not mean that authorized officers will not take necessary steps in this matter.

The petitioner’s counsel argued that a standard procedure is required to facilitate VIP philosophy of twelve Jyotirlingas and their discretionary practices. The court was hearing a petition filed by Vijay Kishore Goswami of Radhamadan Mohan Temple in Vrindavan.
