New Delhi, May 17 (Hindustan Reporter) The Supreme Court has refused to stay the publication of the results of the medical entrance examination NEET-2024. A bench headed by Chief Justice DY Chandrachud issued a notice to the Central Government and ordered the next hearing of the case after the summer vacation. The court said that the court cannot ban the All India Examination.
On the petition filed by Vanshika Yadav, lawyer Sunny Kadian said that during the NEET examination in Rajasthan, there was news of paper leak in the newspapers. He said the most worrying incident took place in Patna, where 13 people were arrested on charges that their papers had arrived a day before the exam. When the Economic and Cyber Crime Division of Bihar investigated, it was found that an organized gang was working in this case.
The petition said that in the case of leak of Pre-Dental Entrance Examination paper in 2015, the Supreme Court had canceled the examination and ordered CBSE to conduct the examination again.
