Supreme Court grants bail to Sanjay Singh in Delhi liquor case

The Supreme Court has given big relief to Aam Aadmi Party's firebrand leader Sanjay Singh in the Delhi Liquor Policy case. The court has given relief to Sanjay Singh after 6 months.

Rajya Sabha MP Sanjay Singh, lodged in Tihar jail, has got bail. Now Sanjay Singh will come out after the court order. Sanjay Singh has got this relief from the Supreme Court.

The court said that the conditions of bail should be decided by the trial court. The court said that Sanjay Singh can take part in his political activities. He will remain on bail until the case is over.

The Enforcement Directorate said that it has no objection in granting him bail. Sanjay Singh was arrested on October 4 last year in an alleged liquor scam case. Sanjay Singh getting bail is a big relief for the Aam Aadmi Party.

In this case, AAP convener and Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal is in ED custody. He is in ED custody till April 15.

Sanjay Singh applied for bail in the Supreme Court. The court asked the ED to tell by 2 pm today whether AAP leader and MP Sanjay Singh needs further custody even after 6 months of imprisonment.

Senior advocate Abhishek Manu Singhvi presented his arguments on behalf of Sanjay Singh. Sanjay Singh had challenged in the Supreme Court the order of the Delhi High Court, in which he was refused bail in the money laundering case related to Delhi Excise Policy.
