Workers of Azad candidate Anita Dhull and Congress candidate Vikas Saharan clashed with each other on Sunday over setting up tents outside the polling booth in Kalayat assembly village. After which, after receiving information about the incident, SP Rajesh Kalia immediately reached the spot and took stock of the situation.
At present the matter has calmed down but the situation remains tense. It is being told that there was a dispute between the two parties regarding setting up a stall (tent) outside the polling booth in Serdha village. After the clash, Inspector Inder Singh, station incharge Rajound said that it was a minor argument, the atmosphere is absolutely calm and the voting process is going on. However, the situation in the village still remains tense. Serdha village has been kept in the category of highly sensitive by the district administration.
