Rudraprayag, 15 May (HS). In view of the possibility of increase in traffic pressure on the highway leading to Kedarnath Dham in the district, SP Rudraprayag Dr. Vishakha Bhadane took stock of the traffic arrangements from Rudraprayag to Kund and issued necessary guidelines to the concerned police station in-charges and police in-charges appointed in traffic. Gave.
He directed that the traffic should be gradually released from below after the vehicles come back from the parking lots located at Sonprayag and Sitapur as well as from the alternative parking lots. Instructions were given for proper coordination among all the in-charges. The next few days are going to be very challenging. In such a situation, it is necessary to maintain effective traffic system. Instructions were also given that the local people should not face problems due to the traffic plan being made. Such arrangements should be made on the Yatra route so that local people can carry out their transportation smoothly.
The Superintendent of Police inspected the tourist police posts established on the yatra route and gave instructions to inform the visiting devotees about the geographical conditions of the place and encourage the travelers arriving late to stay in hotels etc. below. Apart from this, if the parking space in Sonprayag and Sitapur area becomes full then the passengers will be informed about it by making regular announcements.
Apart from this, Deputy Superintendent of Police Traffic Prabodh Ghildiyal took stock of the traffic arrangements at Jawadi post. Jawadi under Rudraprayag district is a point from where devotees are diverted for Badrinath and Kedarnath. At the level of the district police, brochures with travel related information are being given to the devotees coming to Jawadi. By making them aware of the geographical conditions of the district, they are being informed to keep warm clothes, raincoat, jacket, essential medicines etc. with them on the journey route.
District Police appeals to the devotees coming to Kedarnath Dham that the Kedarnath Dham Yatra is going to last for six months and there is a certain capacity of the Yatra stops including Kedarnath Dham. Even the parking lots on the travel routes in the district have a fixed capacity. The biggest thing is that once parked in the parking, the vehicle usually stays for three days. The reason for this is that after the vehicle coming to the district is parked, the passengers sitting in it go to Kedarnath Dham and only after their return, the vehicle moves away from the parking lot and goes to its destination. Therefore, come after planning your journey so that you do not have to face any kind of inconvenience.
