Sunita Kejriwal on arrest of Arvind Kejriwal by CBI: Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal has been arrested by the CBI in the liquor scam case. The CBI on Wednesday formally arrested Kejriwal in the alleged liquor scam and sought five-day custody of the AAP national convener in the corruption case.
Sunita Kejriwal said in a post on the social media platform X that my husband got bail on June 20 in the money laundering case related to the excise duty policy and the ED immediately put a stay on it. The next day the CBI made him an accused and today he was arrested. The entire system is trying to keep Kejriwal out of jail. This is dictatorship, this is an emergency.
Kejriwal will neither bow down nor break
Aam Aadmi Party has also condemned the arrest of Kejriwal and said that the dictator has crossed all limits of cruelty. Today, when there was every possibility of Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal getting bail, BJP panicked and got Kejriwal arrested by CBI in a false case. CBI took Kejriwal to Rouse Avenue Court where his blood sugar level dropped significantly. No matter how much oppression the dictator does, Kejriwal will neither bow down nor break.
CBI arrests Kejriwal and seeks 5-day custody
The CBI formally arrested Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal and sought his five-day custody. Special Judge Amitabh Rawat has reserved the order on the custody plea. In his appearance before the court, Kejriwal claimed his innocence in the case and said that both his former deputy CM Manish Sisodia and the Aam Aadmi Party are innocent.
