Jaipur, 16 December (HS). Kharmas started from Paush Krishna Ekam Monday with Sun entering Sagittarius. Now till January 15, Makar Sankranti, there will be no auspicious activities except storytelling, havan and daily worship. Devotees will remain engrossed in the worship of Sun during Kharmas. In the Magh Krishna Paksha Pratipada new year, there will be Sagittarius Sankranti period till around 9 am on January 14, 2025. This period is called Malmas or Kharmas. Doing auspicious work is prohibited during this period. During Malmas, there will be a ban on auspicious works like marriage, Upanayan Sanskar, house construction, house entry, Vaastu-Muhurta, vehicle purchase, customs, Mundan Sanskar etc. Astrologer Dr. Mahendra Mishra told that on January 14, 2025, at 8.56 am, auspicious works will start as soon as Ravi changes from Dakshinayan to Uttarayan i.e. as soon as Sun God enters Capricorn from Sagittarius. Now the marriage auspicious times will start from January 16, which will continue till the month of June.
There will be Sarvartha Siddhi on 22, 27, 29, 30 December, 5, 7 and 11 January, Amrit Siddhi on 7 and 11 January, Tripushkar Yoga on 17 and 18 December, and special yoga on 17, 22 December and 5 January. If necessary, you can purchase essential items in these yogas. It will be auspicious to use them after keeping them in the puja room.
This is why auspicious works are not done
Astrologer Dr. Mahendra Mishra told that the lord of Sagittarius and Pisces is Jupiter. When the Sun enters its Jupiter’s house of Sagittarius and Pisces, the Sun becomes busy in the service of Lord Jupiter. Due to this, there is no presence of Devguru Jupiter and Sun God in auspicious works. Among the nine planets, Jupiter and Sun are the two main planets, hence due to the absence of the presence of Devguru Jupiter and Suryadev in auspicious works, the scriptures have not given permission to perform auspicious works, because without them the auspicious works remain incomplete. Therefore, there is a ban on auspicious works.
There will be harmony between government and public
This time Sun God has entered Sagittarius riding on a tiger. His sub-vehicle is a horse. Sankranti Nakshatra is named Ghora. As a result, there will be a situation of harmony between the government and the general public in resolving many pending matters. It is noteworthy that the Sun rotates for one month in each of the 12 zodiac signs, this is called Sankranti, that is, there are a total of 12 Sankrantis. In which there are two Sankranti, Sagittarius and Pisces Sankranti respectively. If Sun God is in Sagittarius then it is Dhanu Sankranti and if Sun God is in Pisces then it is Pisces Sankranti. Both these Sankranti periods are called Malmas or Kharmas. Auspicious work is prohibited during both these Sankranti periods. Muhurta has special importance in Hindu tradition. In our Sanatan Dharma, there is a desired time for every work. At the same time, there are some periods when the auspicious time for any auspicious work is prohibited. All auspicious works are prohibited during this period. It has been called Kharmas month.
