Ranchi, June 22 (HS). AJSU Party celebrated AJSU's foundation day on Saturday as a sacrifice day dedicated to the youth across the state. The program was organized in all the assembly constituencies of the state. All the agitators who made an invaluable contribution in the Jharkhand separate state movement were honored. Along with this, a pledge was taken to plant trees and protect them in every assembly constituency.
Party President Sudesh Kumar Mahto attended the Balidan Diwas program organized in Tamar and Silli assembly of Ranchi. During this, Sudesh said that sacrifice and struggle is our self-respect. All of us workers have to work together with determination towards fulfilling the aspirations of Jharkhandis. The responsibility of protecting the identity of the state is on our shoulders. On Balidan Diwas, along with making the youth of the state aware of the history of Jharkhand separate state movement, we are also honoring the agitators who played an important role in this movement.
Sudesh said that all the workers should discharge all their responsibilities towards the society and the organization with full devotion. We will change the conditions of the state by not compromising with the glorious past and struggle. We have to build a good and better Jharkhand in the changed circumstances. AJSU workers will have to sharpen their struggle and unity.
The agitators informed the youth of the region who attended the program about the importance and history of the movement through their addresses. During this, tribute was also paid to the brave martyrs who sacrificed their lives in the Jharkhand movement. In the Balidan Diwas program celebrated in every assembly constituency, the youth of the region were made aware of the pain, suffering, struggle, passion and enthusiasm of the Jharkhand separate state movement through video depiction.
Regarding this video presentation, party president Sudesh Kumar Mahato said that we can never forget the sacrifices of the brave agitators of the Jharkhand separate state movement. Youth are the future of the state. Our aim is to connect the youth with the state's present as well as our glorious history. This video presentation is just a glimpse of this struggle that lasted for decades. Through this presentation, our aim is to make the youth of the state aware of the golden history related to the establishment of the state.
