Delhi elections: A delegation of Aam Aadmi Party met the Chief Electoral Officer on Thursday (January 9). During the tour, Aam Aadmi Party national convenor and former Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal appealed to raid the house of BJP leader Pravesh Verma. He has also accused the BJP leader of violating the election code of conduct.

According to sources, Kejriwal accused BJP leader Parvesh Verma of giving money to women. On these allegations, Pravesh Verma said, “I declare that no matter how much commotion there is, I will remain firm on my mission of helping everyone.” This is my promise to all the needy women of New Delhi. You will get this help without any hindrance in every situation. From pension requirements to job requirements, Parvesh Sahib Verma will work 24*7 to improve the life of his brother and son.

Verma contests elections, will contest against Kejriwal!

In the Delhi Assembly elections, BJP has made Parvesh Verma its candidate from New Delhi Assembly seat. He will contest against Aam Aadmi Party candidate Arvind Kejriwal. Also, Congress has given ticket to former Chief Minister Sheila Dikshit’s son Sandeep Dikshit from this seat. There are three big faces in the fray for this seat, due to which a tripartite war is being seen here.

Voting on 5 February, results on 8 February

Delhi Assembly elections will be held on 5 February. Voting will be held on all 70 seats of Delhi Assembly. When the election results will be declared on 8th February. The voting process will be completed on all seats in a single phase. The last date for filing nomination is January 17.

There are a total of 70 seats in the Delhi Assembly, out of which 58 are general and 12 are reserved. The total number of voters is 1.55 crore which includes 83.49 lakh male and 71.74 lakh female voters. Apart from this, there are 1261 transgender voters. Of the total voters, there are 25 lakh youth voters, about two lakh youth will vote for the first time.

More than 13 thousand polling stations will be prepared to carry out the voting process in Delhi. Earlier, in the assembly elections held in the year 2020, Aam Aadmi Party had got 62 seats, BJP had got 8 seats while Congress had got no seats. At present, both Aam Aadmi Party and BJP are campaigning vigorously to capture the throne of Delhi. Aam Aadmi Party’s Arvind Kejriwal and Chief Minister Atishi are attacking BJP leaders.
