'Suddenly changing CM was like a bomb falling on me', Anil Vij said on the political turmoil in Haryana – News India Live

Former Home Minister Anil Vij is angry over Nayab Singh Saini becoming the CM after the break of alliance with Jannayak Janata Party in Haryana. He said on Tuesday that he had no prior information about the change in state leadership. When this decision was announced in the MLA meeting, it felt as if a bomb had fallen on me. Regarding his desire to join the cabinet, Vij said that this is an imaginary question. Sources say that many leaders of the central leadership also tried to convince Vij but he did not agree. He was not even involved in the cabinet expansion today. However, earlier on March 12, when Saini became the new Chief Minister of the state after Khattar's resignation, Vij's name was also in the list of ministers.

Anil Vij reached Haryana Assembly in Chandigarh from his residence in Ambala Cantt on Tuesday afternoon. After addressing the media here, he directly reached the office of Speaker Gyan Chand Gupta. Till then the Speaker had not come to the office. Vij informed him by calling and after some time the speaker also arrived. Vij has been angry since March 12. After this incident, Vij called Speaker Gyan Chand Gupta twice and requested to include him as a member in the committees of the Assembly. The Speaker has not yet included him in any committee. This is the reason why he reached the Assembly on Tuesday to meet the Assembly Speaker. Here both the leaders drank tea and talked. It is believed that now Vij will be included in the committees of the Assembly.

….otherwise my movement will stop

Vij said that he has requested the Speaker to include me in the assembly committees. After that I will come to Chandigarh every Tuesday and Wednesday to attend the committee meetings. You will get transportation only after joining the committees of the Assembly. You will get TA-DA on coming to the meeting. Otherwise my movement will stop. While talking to the Speaker before the meeting, Vij said that he had no information about the cabinet expansion. When asked about his displeasure over the change of Chief Minister and change of government, Vij said, “I am not angry.” I am a staunch devotee of BJP and will work for the party now more than ever. I don't get angry. I am straight.

Anil Vij stayed away from CM's show

Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini reached By Road Gharaunda after paying obeisance at Nada Sahib Gurdwara in Panchkula on Tuesday. Naib Saini had a road-show program in Ambala. Vij did not attend this. There was discussion that the Chief Minister can also go to his house in Ambala to meet former Home Minister Anil Vij, but the Chief Minister reached Gharaunda directly. On this question, Vij said that he has not had any conversation with the Chief Minister. I was at home. If he had come, I would have made tea for him. It is believed that when the efforts of the central leadership did not yield any results, the government expanded the cabinet without voting.
