He told that while returning from Rajgir with his wife Ragani Vishwakarma on the evening of 17th March, journalist Deepak Vishwakarma was shot by unknown criminals at a short distance from the toll plaza under Deepnagar police station, due to which he was seriously injured. He told that on the basis of the statement of Deepak Vishwakarma's wife Ragani Vishwakarma who was accompanying him, Deepnagar police station case number 113/24 dated 17.03.24 section 307 IPC. And by registering 27 Arms Act, scientific and technical research was started on all the points. Considering the seriousness of the incident, SIT was immediately formed by Superintendent of Police Ashok Mishra for quick investigation of the incident and arrest of the criminals involved and it was continuously monitored.
