Successful bariatric surgery of a patient weighing two and a half kilos and reduced his weight.

Doctors of Jaipur city have now succeeded in reducing the weight of a 35-year-old youth from Panipat weighing 250 kg by performing successful bariatric surgery. Bariatric, robotic and laparoscopic surgeons of Apex Hospital, Dr. Rajneesh and Dr. M.M. Under the direction of Vyas, bariatric surgery was performed on the patient through binoculars. In the operation done through binoculars, five holes were made in the patient and after keeping him in the hospital for seven days, the patient was discharged. After this, within a month the patient's weight decreased by 25 kg.

Dr. Rajneesh told that in the treatment of this patient suffering from sleeve gastrectomy, surgery is done by making a small cut in the food part of the stomach. Weight loss occurs rapidly in the first six years and continues to reduce for the next two years. After this, by adopting regular routine, weight can be controlled in future also.
