Moradabad's Divisional Transport Officer (Administration) Anjaneya Singh said that subsidy will not be available on e-scooties running at a speed of 25 kilometers per hour. Subsidy will be given only to those electric scooters which run at a speed of more than 25 kilometers per hour. For subsidy, one has to register in the RTO office.
ARTO (Administration) Anjaneya Singh further said that more than 35 hundred electric scooters are running on the roads in Moradabad district. Subsidy will not be available on those e-scooties which run at a speed of 25 kilometers per hour. For subsidy, it is necessary to register the scooter in the RTO office. The action for subsidy of vehicles registered till 14 October 2023 has been completed. Subsidy of up to Rs 1 lakh is given on electric cars. A subsidy of up to Rs 5,000 is given on e-scooty. The process of subsidy for registered electric vehicles has been completed.
