Nainital, August 29 (HS). On Thursday, at the DSB campus of Kumaun University, under the aegis of the Directorate of Guest Lecturers, former student of Kumaun University and research student of IISc Bangalore, Janhavi Tiwari shared her experiences with the students of MSc Zoology and MSc and BSc Forestry.
During this, he told the students that by scoring well in the GATE exam, one can get admission in PhD in reputed institutes like IISc, IISR and NISER, or one can also do an integrated PhD course after graduation. Forms for the GATE exam are filled in September and the exam is held in February. Through this, admission is also possible in foreign universities like Singapore and Munich.
He also shared information about PhD opportunities in Ecology, Animal Behaviour, Chemistry, Physics, Biochemistry, Molecular Biology, Evolution, and Microbiology at IISc Bangalore as well as the GEM exam.
On this occasion, Director Prof. Lalit Tiwari, Head of Department Prof. Harish Bisht, Dr. Himanshu Lohani, Dr. Divya Pangati and students were present.
