A user named Shubh has shared his video on his X account. While sharing the video, he wrote that the students of IIM Amritsar protested against the management for installing AC in their hostel and went to sleep in the AC library. One of them said, a modern problem needs a modern solution.

Reacting to this video, an IIM alumnus said that I have just graduated from IIM Amritsar and can say that the heat here becomes unbearable at times. This demand was made last year as well but nothing much was achieved. The temperature is around 45, but it feels like 50. Being one of the temporary hostels, you will feel good outside. On this, a user named Amit Agarwal wrote, I think IIM Amritsar is building a new campus and it is likely to open this year. Maybe the management is not installing new air conditioning in the old campus.
