The Governor was addressing the 99th Foundation Day celebrations of IIT (ISM), Dhanbad as the chief guest on Monday. The Governor said that today when our country is rapidly moving towards becoming the third largest economy in the world under the leadership of the Prime Minister, the role of institutions like IIT (ISM) becomes even more important. The students studied here have not only achieved educational achievements but have also made invaluable contributions in building the society and nation.
Appreciating the contribution of the institute, the Governor said that IIT (ISM) is not just a story of technological and academic success, but is also an inspiration for innovation, entrepreneurship and social change. The Governor congratulated the entire IIT (ISM), Dhanbad family on its Foundation Day and expressed hope that this institute will play an important role in achieving the goal of Developed India 2047 by continuing its tradition of knowledge, innovation and service.
