Student who scored 99.70 percent marks in board exam dies of brain hemorrhage, family sets example by donating organs

New Delhi: Gujarat Board Class 10 result was declared on 11 May. Many students topped in this. Keeping their dreams in their eyes, they moved ahead by taking admission in the next class, but there is one topper of Gujarat Board, who said goodbye to the world just 4 days after topping.

Heer Ghetia, a 15-year-old student who wanted to become a doctor, died on May 15, just four days after her results. Due to this painful incident, a mountain of sorrow has fallen on the family and everyone is not stopping themselves from getting emotional after knowing about this incident. Heer had passed the 10th board exam with 99.70% marks and scored 100 out of 100 in Mathematics subject.

Heer, a resident of Morbi, suffered brain hemorrhage a month ago and underwent an operation at a private hospital in Rajkot, after which Heer was discharged. But then due to breathing and heart problems, Heer was admitted to the ICU of the trust-run BT Swani Hospital in Rajkot, where the brain MRI report revealed that 80 to 90 percent of Heer's brain had stopped functioning.

Heer's family says that the daughter could not become a doctor but even after her death the daughter will help the students who want to become doctors. His family decided to donate Heer's body and organs. The family not only donated both of Heer's eyes, but also donated Heer's body to help educate future doctors practicing medicine at the medical college. The attitude that Heer's family has shown towards the society by donating their organs is an example and it will inspire other people to donate their organs as well.
