Student JDU submitted a memorandum to the student welfare officer regarding their demands

Purnia, June 24 (HS). A delegation led by District President of Student JDU Purnia, Ankit Jha, submitted a written memorandum to the Student Welfare Officer of Purnia University regarding 6 point demands, which includes several major demands.

(1) Water coolers should be provided in News Boys Hostel for the students of PG Department classes.

(2) Both male and female guards should be deployed in the Boys’ Hostel and the male guards should be on duty for 24 hours.

(3) There is considerable delay in releasing the merit list of UG CBCS session 2024-2028, it should be released soon.

(4) There is frequent manipulation of UG and PG results and good students are passed by giving them average marks. This type of manipulation and average marking should be stopped.

(5) The condition of the examination department is very pathetic. Mark sheets and provisional certificates are not received on time, due to which students are deprived of filling any form. This problem should be solved soon.

(6) Results are kept pending on a large scale in UG, PG and other examinations. Even though students appear in the examination, their results are kept pending. This huge problem should be solved soon.

Ankit Jha has said that all the demands should be met as soon as possible or else the gates will be locked and demonstrations will be held. We humbly request that these problems be resolved soon. If these problems are not resolved soon, we will be forced to stage a sit-in demonstration. Former State Vice President of Chhatra JDU Manik Alam said that the various problems faced by the students, which have been brought to our notice, should be resolved soon. Due to the negligence of the university in doing all work, the students are being deprived of every form. Ankit Jha, Manik Alam, Aman Shrivastava, Muskan Kumari, Mukesh Kumar, Monu Kumar, Himanshu Kumar, Zuber Alam and others were present among the students who went to submit the memorandum.
