Yamunanagar, 25 July (HS). The strike of government doctors on the call of Haryana Medical Services Association had no effect on the Civil Hospital on Thursday. While the number of patients in OPD was less, doctors were present for OPD including emergency services. Angry with the non-issuance of notification of their pending demands, doctors of entire Haryana including government doctors of district Yamunanagar went on strike on Thursday on the call of Haryana Medical Services Association.

On this occasion, District President of Haryana Civil Medical Services Association, Dr. Vipin Gondwal said that earlier also we had done a complete strike in the month of December. After this, on 18th July, an agreement was reached between the organization and the government that the notification for increasing the ACP in Services, In Service PG Bond from one crore to 50 lakh rupees, approval of one time selection for filling the post routing promotion of 150 senior medical officers, approval of convenience allowance of Rs. 3000 per month will be done before 25th July. But the government has not issued any notification on this yet.

He said that our organization has never been in favor of strike but assurances were being received from the government for a long time. But its information was not issued. Due to which the doctors were forced to go on strike today, while the Chief Medical Officer of the District Civil Hospital, Dr. Divya Mangala says that the public need not worry due to today's doctors' strike. We have taken the services of district resident doctors and doctors under NHM Services in time. Emergency services and OPD have been continued smoothly in the hospital. Although the number of patients is definitely less today, but the doctors are providing their services.
