Rules have been made strict for the priests in Ram temple in Ayodhya. The priests are placed in groups of seven each to serve in two shifts. The priests who are inside the sanctum sanctorum cannot come out and the priests who are on service outside cannot enter the sanctum sanctorum. Priests will be prohibited from touching outsiders and entering the sanctum sanctorum without taking bath.

Also, the priests on duty in the sanctum sanctorum cannot use mobile phones. The work schedule of the priests will be changed every month between Krishna Paksha and Shukla Paksha. This timetable of Seva Puja will run from Krishna Paksha unit to Aamsad and from Shukla Paksha unit to Poonam. The service time of the first shift will be from 4 am to 12 noon from the rising of the Lord till Rajbhog Aarti. The second shift will be from 12 noon to 10.30 pm. After the Tirupati Balaji Temple Prasad controversy, strict rules have now been implemented in temples across the country. New rules are being made to bring discipline among the temple employees, so that the devotees also get the benefit.
