Kanpur, 17 October (Hindustan Reporter). To test the security arrangements in view of the upcoming festivals, RPF IG AN Sinha on Thursday conducted a surprise inspection of the RPF police station of Kanpur Central Railway Station and directed that there should be constant monitoring of the security of the railway track. Clearly, strict action should be taken against those who tarnish the image of Railways by creating fake IDs.

RPF IG AN Sinha reached the RPF police station at Kanpur Central Station on Thursday and inquired about the condition of the security personnel and resolved their problems. The IG also visited the control room at the Central Station and inspected the records.

He instructed his subordinates that a conspiracy was hatched to derail the train on the tracks around the Central Station. Considering this seriously, now the joint team of local police force, RPF and GRP should do continuous checking. There should be no disturbance of any kind during the upcoming festival.

IG said that due to the upcoming festivals, attention is also being paid to ensure that no one carries firecrackers in the train. RPF personnel will be on duty for 12 hours and will keep the records strong. Those who create fake IDs and tweet on X will also not fare well.

IG said that the investigation has been handed over to Senior DSC Prayagraj. People who tarnish the image of Railways and RPF will not be spared. During the inspection, staff like RPF Vivek Verma, Central Station Inspector Budlapal Singh Panki, Inspector Satyendra Kumar Yadav, Sub Inspector Amit Dwivedi etc. were present.
