Stray animals are becoming a big problem

Nowadays it is common to see stray animals everywhere. We usually see and hear in cities and towns that a motorcyclist has been hit by a bull or a schoolchild or an elderly person has been injured by cows. The problem of stray animals is increasing day by day. Most of the accidents occur due to these. They have increased the traffic problem considerably.

They also play an important role in polluting the environment. Stray animals spread filth by defecating on roads and localities. It has also been seen that bulldozers enter shops or collide with pedestrians in markets, causing a lot of damage. Sometimes precious lives are also lost in the stampede.

It has become common for stray animals to pull vegetable or fruit wrappers from motorcycles or scooters. Due to a moment's carelessness, stray animals snatch vegetables and fruits from the people living on the streets. Even in villages, stray animals damage farmers' crops. Like the sons of farmers, they destroy the crops grown and the fodder of domesticated animals.

Many stray animals are so aggressive that farmers are afraid to go into the fields alone. Here it is also worth thinking about where so many stray animals come from and why people leave them as strays. Foreign breed cattle arrived for milk revolution in the country. This definitely increased milk production, but due to lack of knowledge about foreign animals, after some time the animals get spoiled and stop giving milk. It is difficult for common people to afford funder animals and they loose them. Due to mechanization of agriculture, the use of oxen in agriculture and transportation has stopped or has remained only nominal. That's why people consider calves as extra burden and leave them loose.

In such a situation, this issue arises to avoid expense and trouble. Along with governments, common people and social service organizations should also cooperate to solve the problem of stray animals. Governments collect crores of rupees in the name of cow cess but do not take any special steps for the welfare of animals or their conservation.
