Strategic partnership will be strengthened between the two countries

HANOI: Russian President Vladimir Putin was given a red carpet welcome and a guard of honour by Vietnamese dignitaries as he arrived here from the North Korean capital, Pyongyang, this morning.

Putin, who has faced infamy in the world community due to the Ukraine war, first visited China, then North Korea and now Vietnam, which reminds us of the Cold War era.

After the strategic agreement with China, Russia also signed a strategic agreement with North Korea two days ago and now the whole world is watching the military agreements between Russia and Vietnam. In this way, Vietnam is now becoming the axis of China, North Korea, Iran and Russia. Vietnam and Russia have friendship agreements since 1950. There is a statue of Comrade Lenin on the main square of Renoir.

During his visit to Vietnam, Vietnam's most powerful and influential leader, Communist Party General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong, will meet newly elected Chinese President To Lam and other officials. Putin's visit and other visits to the United States are actually Guinean.

Earlier Russia had signed an agreement with China, then it also signed a military agreement with Pyongyang. Now President Putin has signed agreements with former President To Lam which commit to mutual assistance in times of war. Vietnam's supreme leader, Communist Party General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong was present at the time of these agreements.

It is worth mentioning that the membrane covering the communist nations of East and South East Asia, Vietnam, China and North Korea is called Bamboo Curtain. Vietnam has also kept bamboo diplomacy in this. So it bends just like a new bamboo can bend. It has also maintained economic relations with America but now there is every possibility of a break. Russia has to help in the exploration of oil in its coastal areas. This area falls in the South China Sea. That is why China was opposing it. But Putin can convince China. That is why Vietnam is inclined towards Russia.

Very few people would know that Gujarat has had relations with Vietnam since independence from France. India had one of the first embassies to open there and the Prince of Kotada Sangani who was an MA. (Phys.Sc. Bombay) was the first ambassador of India to Vietnam.
