Stopping listing of terrorists in Security Council shows double standards: India

UNO: Not listing people who have been declared global terrorists on the basis of evidence in the UN Security Committee without any valid reason directly reflects the double standards. In this way, India's Permanent Representative to the United Nations Ruchira Kamboj directly mocked China's efforts to provide shelter to Pakistan-based terrorists.

If we also look at the organizations of the countries that support this underground world, we will come to know that their functioning is well organized, but they do not have the UNO charter or any other legal basis. This is against the resolutions of the United Nations Council.

The United States, Russia, England, France and China have permanent membership in the 15-member UN Security Council with five veto powers. While the other 10 are elected every two years as per the order. In this the permanent members have veto power. In protest against this, India once again expressed its anger that this veto power also needs to be democratized. The thing to be seen is that no single country can save this organization which has taken the entire world hostage with its veto.

Now it is well known that its evergreen friend China stands up to protect Pakistan every time and also gives shelter to global terrorists.

Last week, G-4 countries Brazil, Germany, Japan and India presented a detailed model of Security Council reform to the Security Council. And said there is a need for a position-setting stance on the Security Committee. Emphasis was laid on resolving this long pending issue next year, the year of the 80th anniversary of the United Nations.
