Stone pelting up to 20 meters on railway track, another failed attempt to overturn train in UP

Major railway accident averted in Bijnor: An attempt has been made to derail another train in Uttar Pradesh. A case of conspiracy to derail a train has come to light in Bijnor, UP. Here stones were laid on the railway track. Here a MEMU Express narrowly escaped being a victim of an accident. Stones were pelted on the railway track in Bijnor which could have caused a major railway accident, but the accident was averted. According to the information received, MEMU Express train was going from Saharanpur to Moradabad and a conspiracy was hatched to overturn it.

Stones were pelted on the railway track near Garhmalpur railway crossing in Bijnor. Memu train passed breaking stones. Then the driver heard the loud sound of the train hitting the rock. After this, when the driver stopped the car by applying emergency brake, he saw that there was stone pelting for about 20 meters on both sides on the railway track of the up and down line.

Information about the incident was given to the station master and higher officials.

When the train passed over small stones kept on the track, these stones broke with a loud noise, the loco pilot stopped the train by applying emergency brakes. However, the train passed safely breaking the stones. According to the information received from the Railways, the loco pilot of the MEMU Express train informed the station master and higher officials about this incident as soon as it reached Murshadpur railway station.

Railway police investigated the incident

On receiving information about the incident, GRP in-charge Pawan Kumar, Dhan Singh Chauhan, Senior Section Engineer of RPF reached the spot where stones were pelted on the railway track and investigated. Now the Railway Police is investigating the incident.
