Stone pelting on BJP office in West Bengal, three workers injured, Trinamool blamed

Violence in West Bengal: After the Lok Sabha election results in West Bengal, incidents of violence are being reported in some places. Again, incidents of tension between Trinamool and BJP workers have come to light in Durgapur and Bardhaman. According to reports, BJP alleged that a large number of Trinamool workers attacked the BJP district office in Bardhaman with sticks and stones.

Three BJP workers were injured

According to reports, stones were pelted at the BJP office and vehicles parked outside were vandalised. It is also being said that three BJP workers were injured in the stampede. After the incident, a large number of police convoys have reached the spot and are trying to control the situation. An atmosphere of tension has been created in the area due to the incident.

MLA's office was also attacked

There were reports of vandalism at the party office of a BJP MLA in Durgapur this morning (6 June). The MLA office at Artillery Road in Durgapur Steel Town was vandalised and looted. Durgapur West MLA Laxman Gharui alleged, 'Trinamool supporters are torturing my workers after winning the election. My office was vandalised and many valuable documents were looted.'

Trinamool rejected all the allegations

The Trinamool party has rejected the allegations leveled by the BJP. Former district president Uttam Mukhopadhyay said, 'All the leaders from top to bottom in the BJP are victims of factionalism. These attacks have been carried out by outsiders brought in by the BJP.
