The Indian stock market closed in the green zone today i.e. Monday, September 09. The market opened in the morning. The Sensex closed at 81,559 with a gain of 375 points. Out of its 30 stocks, 15 rose and 15 fell.
Nifty also rose by 84 points. It closed at 24,936. 26 stocks of Nifty 50 declined and only 24 stocks rose. FMCG and banking stocks rose.
