In BSE Sensex, 18 out of 30 shares are trading with gains and 12 shares with decline. In the Sensex, shares of ITC, Kotak Mahindra Bank, ICICI Bank, HCL, Bharti Airtel, Bajaj Finserv and Tata Motors are seeing gains. The declining stocks include shares of Titan, Adani Ports, NTPC, HDFC Bank.
Asian markets boom
According to the data, Asia-Pacific markets saw the biggest rise on Monday. It was led by Japan's Nikkei 225. In the sector which is growing by about 2 percent, investors are keeping an eye on the decisions of the Central Bank. Nikkei's gains were led by financial and consumer cyclical stocks, with names such as Mizuho Financial Group and Mitsubishi UFJ Financial Group among the biggest gainers on the index.
A big gap was created in the market on Friday
Earlier on Friday, October 4, the Sensex had fallen 808 points or 0.98 per cent and closed at 81,688. Nifty also closed at 25,049, down 200 points or 0.93 percent. Out of 30 Sensex stocks, 21 declined and 9 rose. Out of 50 Nifty stocks, 37 declined and 13 gained. Except the IT sector of NSE, all other sectors witnessed a decline. The maximum decline was 2.53 percent in the media sector.
