Stock News: Market gains on fourth trading day, Sensex opens 117 points higher | News India

The Indian stock market is open in the green zone today i.e. Thursday, September 5. The market closed in the red zone yesterday, Wednesday. The BSE Sensex opened at 82,469.79 today, up 117.15 points or 0.14 percent. While the NSE Nifty opened at 25,250.50, up 51.80 points or 0.21 percent.

In the stock market, the BSE Sensex today hit an intraday high of 82,617.49 and is just short of its all-time high of 82,725.28. The Nifty touched 25,275.45 at this time and came very close to its all-time high of 25,333.65.

The market capitalization of BSE has reached Rs 466.81 lakh crore. Today 3235 shares are being traded on BSE and 2305 shares are seeing a rise. 816 shares rose and 114 shares traded unchanged.

These stocks rose

On Thursday, the Nifty pack of stocks saw the biggest gains. UltraTech Cement gained 1.71 percent, Shriram Finance 1.18 percent, Tata Steel 1.03 percent, ICT 0.86 percent, Wipro 0.61 percent. While the biggest losers were Hero MotoCorp 0.58 percent, HDFC Life 0.57 percent, Coal India 0.46 percent, Nestle India 0.46 percent and SBI Life 0.38 percent.
