The Indian stock market witnessed a decline today i.e. on 5 September. The Sensex closed down 151 points at 82,201. At the same time, the Nifty also closed down 53 points at 25,145. Out of the 30 Sensex stocks, 21 declined and 9 rose. Out of the 50 Nifty stocks, 33 declined and 17 rose. Cipla was the top loser in the Nifty.

On Thursday, among the Sensex companies, the share of Reliance Industries closed with the maximum decline of 1.41 percent. Tata Motors closed down by 1.05 percent, Nestle India by 0.99 percent, Bharti Airtel by 0.96 percent, Power Grid by 0.80 percent, Bajaj Finance by 0.75 percent, Larsen & Toubro by 0.75 percent. Apart from this, shares of JSW Steel, Sun Pharma, Mahindra & Mahindra, UltraTech Cement, IndusInd Bank, Kotak Mahindra Bank, Adani Ports, NTPC, Bajaj Finserv, Tech Mahindra, Maruti Suzuki, Hindustan Unilever and ICICI Bank are also included. Today, the loss closed in the red zone.
