New Delhi, 10 October (Hindustan Reporter). There seems to be a strengthening trend in the domestic stock market during early trading today. Today's trading also started with gains. Although the stock market movement declined due to selling pressure as soon as the market opened, this decline did not continue for long. All-round buying started around 10 am, due to which the movement of the stock market also increased. After the first hour of trading, Sensex was trading with a gain of 0.61 percent and Nifty with a gain of 0.60 percent.
After the first hour of trading, among the big stocks of the stock market, shares of Power Grid Corporation, NTPC, Mahindra & Mahindra, Kotak Mahindra and HCL Technology were trading with a strength of 2.14 percent to 1.29 percent. On the other hand, shares of Adani Enterprises, Cipla, Shriram Finance, Trent Limited and Dr Reddy's Laboratories were seen trading with a fall of 2.50 per cent to 0.51 per cent.
In the current trading, there was active trading in 2,328 shares in the stock market. Of these, 1,740 shares were trading in the green after earning profits, while 598 shares were trading in the red after incurring losses. Similarly, out of 30 shares included in Sensex, 26 shares remained in the green with the support of buying. On the other hand, 4 shares were trading in the red due to selling pressure. Whereas out of 50 shares included in Nifty, 41 shares were seen trading in green mark and 9 shares were seen trading in red mark.
BSE Sensex opened today at 81,832.66 points with a gain of 365.56 points. Due to selling pressure as soon as trading started, this index fell to 81,542.65 points. However, after this the buyers took charge in the market. With the support of continuous buying, within a short time this index jumped by more than 500 points to reach the level of 81,990.09 points. After the first hour of trading amid continuous buying and selling in the market, at 10:15 am the Sensex was trading at 81,963.19 points with a gain of 469.09 points.
Like Sensex, NSE's Nifty started trading today at 25,067.05 points with a gain of 85.10 points. As profit booking started as soon as the market opened, this index slipped to the level of 24,995.85 points. However, due to increase in buying around 10 am, this index also gained momentum. With the support of continuous buying, within a short time this index jumped by more than 150 points to reach 25,133.95 points. After the initial 1 hour of trading between continuous buying and selling in the market, at 10:15 am Nifty was trading at the level of 25,130.85 points with a gain of 148.90 points.
Before this, on the last trading day on Wednesday, the Sensex had closed at the level of 81,467.10 points with a decline of 167.71 points or 0.21 percent. At the same time, Nifty ended Wednesday's trading at the level of 24,981.95 points with a weakness of 31.20 points or 0.12 percent.
