Stock market regained its glory: 7 day losing streak broken, Nifty closes above 24200

August 20 was a day of relief for investors in the Indian stock market. Breaking the trend of recession and decline that has been going on for the last 7 consecutive trading sessions, Indian equity indices closed strongly in the green today. All-round buying was seen in the market, due to which investors’ portfolios improved.

Great rise in Sensex and Nifty

On the other hand, due to profit-booking, shares of Hindalco Industries, Bharat Electronics, Tata Consumer, InterGlobe Aviation and Nestle recorded slight weakness.

Shopping enthusiasm seen in all sectors
