The stock market started on a positive note on Thursday. Both Sensex and Nifty opened on the green mark. Now if we talk about the situation at 9.33, the Sensex had opened above 81 thousand. In which an increase in marks was seen. Nifty also opened above 24 thousand. Nifty traded in the green with a gain of points.
Mixed activities in pre-opening
Mixed movements were seen in the market during pre-opening. The Sensex was trading at 81,598.69, up 72.55 points or 0.9 per cent. While Nifty was trading at 24,495.65 with a decline of 142.90 points or 0.59 percent.
Shares of more than half the companies opened in the red.
On Thursday, shares of 14 out of 30 Sensex companies opened in the green with gains and the remaining 16 in the red with losses. Similarly, shares of 17 out of 50 Nifty companies opened in the green mark with a rise and shares of 31 companies opened in the red mark with a fall. Whereas shares of 2 Nifty companies opened without any change.

Among Sensex companies, shares of JSW Steel opened with the highest gain of 0.36 percent today. Apart from this, shares of IndusInd Bank fell 0.34 percent, Mahindra & Mahindra 0.27 percent, Infosys 0.27 percent, State Bank of India 0.26 percent, Larsen & Toubro 0.23 percent, PowerGrid 0.20 percent, Tech Mahindra 0.17 percent, TCS 101 percent, 01 percent. Bharti Airtel 0.08 percent. Shares of Adani Ports opened up by 0.07 per cent, ICICI Bank by 0.03 per cent and Tata Motors by 0.02 per cent.
