Stock Market 29 October: The stock market had a weak start on Dhanteras. Sensex fell 400 points and Nifty fell below 24250.
Condition of stock market on Dhanteras
Today is the auspicious day of Dhanteras. The stock market is trading in the green with slight gains amid expectations of a good start for the market amid good global signals. But soon the market was in the red. Sensex fell 400 points to 80037 and Nifty to 24250.
Infosys shares opened down 1.03 percent. Shares of Mahindra & Mahindra are trading down by 0.76 percent, HDFC Bank by 0.53 percent, Bharti Airtel by 0.35 percent, Larsen & Toubro by 0.31 percent, TCS by 0.07 percent, Maruti Suzuki by 0.02 percent.

Sun Pharma 1.02 per cent, Axis Bank 0.79 per cent, Tata Motors 0.71 per cent, Asian Paints 0.63 per cent, ICICI Bank 0.57 per cent, Hindustan Unilever 0.57 per cent, State Bank of India 0.56 per cent, Indus Bank 0.56 per cent. Shares of Adani Ports are trading with a gain of 0.52 percent, along with shares of Tata Steel, Titan, Nestle India, ITC, Bajaj Finance, Tech Mahindra, HCL Tech also opened with gains.
