Stock market moves towards recovery, Sensex nears 74000, rise in these stocks

Stock Market Today: The Indian stock market is again moving ahead with the decline today. Till 11 am, Sensex was trading near 74 thousand (high 73942.77). While Nifty was trading at 22458.75 with an improvement of 54.90 points. At 11.03 am, Sensex is trading at 73924.92, up 261.2.

Investors' capital increased by Rs 2 lakh crore. 219 shares hit upper circuit and 163 shares hit 52-week high. As many as 16 stocks in the Sensex pack traded up to 6 per cent higher, while all sectoral shares except healthcare, IT and tech stocks improved.

M&M's shares reach record high

Shares of Mahindra & Mahindra rose 7 per cent to a record high of Rs 2,554.75 on BSE today after reporting strong quarterly results. Which was trading at 2520.95, up 6.24 percent at 11.05 am. Shares of Bharti Airtel rose 1.01 percent, UltraTech Cement rose 1.59 percent, SBI rose 1.05 percent. At the same time, profit booking has increased in IT stocks including Infosys, Wipro, L&T, TCS, HCL Tech.

FIIA reduced sales

For some time now, foreign investors have been selling goods worth thousands of crores. However, yesterday it has come down to Rs 776.49 crore. The dollar index has weakened on expectations of interest rate cuts by the US Federal Reserve. Also, now barely 15 to 16 days are left for the results of Lok Sabha elections to come. It has been seen in the market that after the expected results, big investors will increase their investments.
