Stock Market Closing Bell: After a dry spell in the last 3 trading sessions, the stock market has again witnessed an attractive uptrend today. The Sensex rose 1412.33 points today, while the Nifty also returned to the psychological level of 24500.
At the end of the week today, the Sensex rose 1330.96 points to close at 80436.84 and the Nifty rose 397.40 points to close at 24541.15. This has increased the capital of investors by 7 lakh crores. The volume of purchases has increased in IT-realty, banking, PSU stocks. With the universal bullish mood, 325 stocks hit an upper circuit today. Also, 202 stocks reached new highs of the year.

Out of total 4036 shares traded on BSE, 2459 shares closed in green zone, 1470 shares in red zone. Out of 30 shares of Sensex, except Sun Pharma, all 29 shares rose up to 4%. In which Tech Mahindra rose 4.02%, Tata Motors 3.47%, Mahindra & Mahindra 3.45%, TCS 2.91%, HCL Tech. Rise of 2.65%. Sun Pharma closed with a fall of 0.03%. Which shows the market breadth being positive and the bullish trend.
