The first budget of PM Modi's third term is to be presented today. Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman will present the budget at 11 am. At 9.30 am, Sensex opened with 80 thousand 599 points. An increase of 97.89 points was seen. While Nifty opened at 24,524 points with a gain of 15.30 points.
Bank Nifty up
Before the budget announcement, the stock market's Bank Nifty is on a rise, but today the IT index is down, which is somewhat surprising. The IT index was moving up for the last few days, but today's decline on the budget day shows that the IT sector does not seem excited about the budget. Out of 50 stocks of NSE Nifty, 27 stocks are trading with gains and 23 stocks are trading with losses.
