Stock market boom, Sensex opened at its highest ever level

The stock market opened at a record high today and the Sensex opened at an all-time high. The BSE Sensex opened 307.22 points or 0.41 per cent higher at 74,555.44, while the NSE Nifty opened 64.65 points or 0.29 per cent higher at 22,578.35.

How was the market in pre-opening?

In pre-opening, BSE Sensex was trading at 774605 with a gain of 357 points or 0.48 percent. NSE's Nifty was trading at 22581, up 67.75 points or 0.30 percent.

Nifty Consumer Durables gained the most by 2.06%.

Talking about NSE sectoral index, Nifty Consumer Durables is seeing the highest increase of 2.06%. Apart from this, Nifty Realty increased by 1.26%, Nifty Auto by 0.36%, Nifty Financial Services by 0.23% and FMCG by 0.25%. Whereas a decline of 0.18 percent is seen in Nifty PSU Bank.
