Bangladesh temple vandalized: After the coup in Bangladesh, Hindus are being continuously targeted. There are continuous attacks on Hindu homes and temples. Now in this sequence, miscreants in Mymensingh and Dinajpur of Bangladesh vandalized three Hindu temples and broke eight statues within two days.

According to the information received, the police has arrested a person in the case of vandalism in a temple. This is another incident that has come to light in the wake of ongoing violence against the minority Hindu community in Bangladesh.

Three idols from two temples were vandalized in Haluaghat sub-district of Mymensingh on Thursday and Friday morning. Quoting temple sources and local people, Halughat police station in-charge Abul Khair said that on Friday morning, mischievous elements broke two idols of Bondarpada temple located in Shakui Sangh of Halughat.

He said that no case has been registered yet in this incident and no one has been arrested. In another incident on Thursday morning, miscreants broke an idol at the Polashkanda Kali temple in Beldora union of Haluaghat.

The police have arrested a person

Police on Friday arrested a 27-year-old man from Polashkand village for his alleged involvement in the incident. The officer in charge said that the arrested Alaluddin has confessed to his crime during interrogation. Earlier on Thursday, Polashkand Kali Mandir Committee President Suvash Chandra Sarkar had registered a case against unknown people.
