District Sports Office Deputy Sports Officer Shamim Ahmed said that in compliance with the Regional Sports Office Ayodhya, district and divisional level selection or trials dates have been fixed for the two-day special senior wrestling men's prize money competition to be held in the year 2024-25. The district level trials of the Senior Wrestling Men's Prize Money Competition Gorakhpur will be held in Amethi on August 2 and divisional level trials in Ayodhya on August 3 and the state level competition will be held in Shri Guru Gorakhnath Temple Complex, Gorakhpur from August 2 to August 4, 2024.
He informed that the district level selection or trials for the above game is being organized on 2nd August from 10 am in Dr. Bhimrao Ambedkar Stadium, Amethi. The boys participating in the above selection will be given cash prizes, mace and certificates under the prescribed weight categories of Kesari weight category above 74 kg (senior age male category), Kumar weight category 60 to 70 kg (senior age male category) and Veer Abhimanyu weight category fifty to sixty kg (senior age male category) and the winner and runner-up players will be given cash prizes, mace and certificates.
