Ranchi, July 3 (HS). The second phase of state level monitoring of Prayas cum Project Impact will begin in August. This time the number of schools for monitoring has also been increased. In April, the officials of the state level monitoring team had conducted surprise inspection of 700 schools. This time this number has been increased to 2700.
In more than 100 schools of each district, issues related to educational quality and compliance of Project Impact will be thoroughly investigated. The schools which were monitored in April will also be inspected randomly and the progress of work there will be checked. This instruction was given by Aditya Ranjan, Director of Jharkhand Education Project Council, in a review meeting related to inclusive education and Project Impact on Wednesday.
Aditya Ranjan said that this time not only government schools but also 120 block level resource centers (inclusive education) of the state will be inspected. The officials of the monitoring team will conduct surprise inspection of five resource centers of each district. In these centers, detailed review of regular register update, teaching material, children's certification, implementation of Swami Vivekanand Scholarship Scheme, no cost, low cost, regular classes, plantation campaign etc. will be done.
After the review, the monitoring team will send the review report to the State Education Project. On the basis of this report, action will be taken against careless resource teachers and officials related to the block resource centers. A separate committee will be formed to investigate the various activities conducted under Samagra Shiksha in these centers.
Better block resource centers will be rewarded
Aditya Ranjan said in the review meeting that the better Block Resource Center (Inclusive Education) will be rewarded and encouraged by the Jharkhand Education Project Council. He has instructed all resource teachers to submit the best photos and videos related to the respective BRC in the prescribed format.
