State government constituted Jantri Reform Committee

Before implementing Jantri, the state government has constituted Jantri Reform Committee. In which committees have been formed at the city council, municipality or urban development authority as well as at the village level in rural areas. In all these committees, the District Collector will be the chairman of the committee.

According to the information, the state government has constituted the Jantri Reform Committee before implementing Jantri. In all the committees, the District Collector will be the chairman of the committee. Along with this, the committee will have 7 members from Municipal Corporation including Collector, 6 members from Municipal Corporation, UDA and a total of 5 members from village level committee. Jantri dispute, Jantri defect and other topics have been kept. The committee will have to give its opinion to Gujarat Stamp Duty Office within 15 days.

• Formation of committee at Municipal Corporation, Municipal Corporation, UDA and village level
• The committee has 7 members from Municipal Corporation including Collector, 6 members from NPA, UDA.
• There will be a total of 5 members in the village level committee
• Topics including Jantri dispute, Jantri defect were kept
• The committee has to give its opinion within 15 days
• Opinion has to be sent to Gujarat Stamp Duty Office.

Committees have been formed in municipalities, townships or urban development authorities as well as at the village level in rural areas. In all these committees, the District Collector will be the chairman of the committee. Including the Collector, the committee will have 7 members in the Municipality, 6 in the Municipality or Urban Development Authority and a total of 5 members in the village level committee. Machinery disputes, machinery malfunction and other topics have been kept under the purview of this committee. This committee will have to send its clear opinion to Gujarat Stamp Duty Office within 15 days on the dispute or Jantri defect coming to it.
